Strengthening the Extrusion team

Baker Perkins continues to develop its twin-screw Industrial Extrusion business serving the powder coating and pharmaceutical industries: Kyle Doyle has joined the team as a Technical Sales Trainee to provide additional support to the sales team.

Kyle is well acquainted with Baker Perkins equipment: he joined the company four years ago and has just completed a manufacturing apprenticeship.

He is now gaining experience in every aspect of the business before becoming a sales representative.

The Baker Perkins MP range of twin-screw extruders covers outputs from laboratory scale to over four tonnes per hour.

All Baker Perkins machines feature clamshell barrels and have drive trains specifically designed for mixing and compounding of thermosetting material, particularly powder coating, toner and EMC. Other applications include granulation and spheronisation for pharmaceuticals.

Baker Perkins has been at the forefront of twin-screw extrusion technology since pioneering its introduction over 30 years ago, and has an installed base of over 1,000 extruders world-wide. As well as new machines, Baker Perkins’ Lifetime Support services cover replacement parts, service, barrel replacements and process optimisation, plus upgrades and rebuilds for installed machinery.
